Hey, thanks. It's always great to read posts like this

You know, when we started working on ArcMagi, all I was thinking was: "how the hell I'm gonna fit all these shields, creatures and mages in a sideways view". Then just few tests have shown that it's no problem at all. We could even increase the size of the sprites a bit. It takes a second to adjust to, if you are used to original MAGI, and it is a bit more hectic, but it works without problems and larger graphics actually make the battlefield more clear to read.
suggestion - It would be cool if the achievement awards effected gameply by adding unique abilities and spells to the players character. Boosts in abilities, exp. gain, or new pets to summon could add huge replay value. Reaching awards that unlock unique characters would be cool.
That's already planned

. Insignias (achievements) won't directly affect your character, but will unlock new features like: modes, extra difficulty or expanded character creation.
I would also really like to see a multiplayer in this one

.
Yeah, we would like to have it too. If it'll only be possible, we will implement it.
Another idea I had was battle grounds. Different battle grounds like woods, cliffs, pits of fire, and volcanos which effected spells, creatures, and added hazards would add new dimensions to gameplay. I.E. Rainforest - energy gain bonus, fire spell/creature penalty, hazards - flash flooding causes minor but increasing amounts of damage to everything as the battle progresses. Volcano - Fire spell/creature bonus, sheilds take steady damage from intense energy interferances, Hazards - random falling lava balls at random intervals...
We've got few things like that in mind. They could spice the game up and add some replayability. However, for now we decided to polish the core gameplay to the point it's really playable, and only then see if the game needs any more depth.
