Thomas "TeeGee" Grochowiak
Magi creator

TeeGee's photo

I'm your typical gaming enthusiast, born with a pad in his hands and a never-ending supply of game ideas in his head. I was interested in game design and creation since I was a kid. How was this game made? What were its key design points? What mistakes designers have made? These were the questions I asked myself every time I played something new. Thinking about my own answers eventually has led me to becoming a game developer.
MAGI was an idea that I had in my mind for quite some time. Summer 2005 I've finally decided to stop thinking and just make the freakin' game. Amounts of positive feedback I got convinced me to turn my hobby into a job and to become an independent game developer.
Right now, I have to share my time between my indie games, designer's job at Codeminion, and generally being a cool dude ;).

If you have any questions regarding the game, please contact me at:

I just love to recieve e-mails from our players.

Rob "Bod" Westwood
Music Composer

Rob's photo

I've been composing since childhood, always creating music to situations and was very excited on the day that I finally found I could transcibe what was in my head to a MIDI keyboard. Now a days I enjoy breathing life into innovative independent titles.
Composing is never fun unless you enjoy what you're scoring for and it just so happens that the wonders that crop up from the minds of indie developers are often so fresh and invigorating that it is hard to match musically. It is also nice to be given a lot of control and freeedom in what I compose; it makes it more of a challenge as opposed to sticking to what works. Ofcourse, that is fun too. I would call myself a thematic writer as I very much enjoy writing themes and ditties that are - hopefully - singable!
I am currently attending university and really cracking on with the game/film composition and utterly loving it.

Marius Utheim
Programmer

Marius's photo

I am the newest member of the team - the programmer. I've loved computer games since I was around three years old. The first game I really fell in love with, was Super Mario World for the SNES.
Random stimulation throughout the years has lead to me being quite a thinker. Now I'm taking IB (International Baccalaureate), a challenging international curriculum, in high school. When I finish it, I consider studying physics or mathematics in university. Evidently, this has turned me into some genius. But don't worry; you're still better than me at football.

Marius is our programmer and maths wizard. If you have found any bugs or have other questions and suggestions, just contact him at:

Kate "Dormouse" Kluge
Character Designer

Dormouse's photo

I draw. I design stuff. I sew. I make jewellery. I study Indian Studies - or, more precisely, Sanskrit. It's kinda fun, but in the long run it doesn't make much sense ;). I'm a bit of a show-off. I try to be nice and honest with people, though time and again I discover people don't really care to do the same in return. I have a soft spot for tacky things and B-class movies (I share this guilty pleasure with Tom, which probably makes us such a great team).

Kate is our lovely concept artist and character designer. If you have any questions or comments, just contact her at:

Jan "Wulczer" Urbański
Webmaster

Wulczer's photo

I'm your average computer freak, typing endless hours away ever since I was in primary school. I got really hooked on computer-related stuff in my last year of secondary school and so I find myself struggling through the Computer Science department of Warsaw University.
Me and TeeGee go a long way back. I've known him for over fifteen years now, and when he asked me if I could do some Web programming and administration for the game he's been writing (and which I have spent many hours playing) I was only too happy to agree. In my free time I like to travel around the globe and learn languages (not that I have a lot of free time, though...)

If you have any comments or suggestions about the website or the forums, contact Wulczer at:
