Thomas "TeeGee" Grochowiak
Magi creator

TeeGee's photo

I'm a typical gaming enthusiast born holding a joystick in his hands and having a never-ending supply of ideas in his head. I was interested in the game design and creation since I was a kid. How was this game made? What were its key design points? What mistakes designers have made? These were questions I've asked myself every time I've played something new. Magi was an idea that I had in my mind for quite some time. Summer 2005 I've finally decided to stop thinking and just make the freakin' game. Amounts of positive feedback I've got convinced me to turn my hobby into a job and to become an indie game dev. Right now I have to share my time between my girlfriend, MAGI and my designer's work at Codeminion.

If you have any questions regarding the game, please contact me at:

I just love to recieve e-mails from fans.

Jan "Wulczer" Urbański
Webmaster

I'm your average computer freak, typing endless hours away ever since I was in primary school. I got really hooked on computer-related stuff in my last year of secondary school and so I find myself struggling through the Computer Science department of Warsaw University.
Me and TeeGee go a long way back. I've known him for over fifteen years now, and when he asked me if I could do some Web programming and administration for the game he's been writing (and which I have spent many hours playing) I was only too happy to agree. In my free time I like to travel around the globe and learn languages (not that I have a lot of free time, though...)

Rob "Bod" Westwood
Music Composer

I've been composing for a few years now and specifically enjoy breathing life into original and innovative independent games. Composing is never fun unless you enjoy what you're scoring for and it just so happens that the wonders that crop up from the minds of independent developers are so fresh and invigorating that you it's often hard to match musically. It's also nice to be given a lot of control over what I compose. I would call myself a thematic writer as I very much enjoy writing themes and ditties that are - hopefully - sing-able! I am currently attending university and really cracking on with game composition and utterly loving it! I'm looking forward to seeing what future commissions come my way.

Sylwia Zol.
Artist

I've been interested in gaming for some time as a gamer and a graphic designer/artist as well.
I do love the idea of Virtuality created from basics where you can do whatever without any "real" consequences and it's been the main inspiration of my latest artworks: drawings, digital graphics, animations. During my spare time (if I have any) I take care of my boyfriend and our flat :).

I'm a new MAGI's artist, responsible for character graphics and animation. If you have any questions/comments doing with this part of the game, just contact me at:

Kate "Dormouse" Kluge
Character Designer

I draw. I design stuff. I sew. I make jewellery. I study Indian Studies - or, more precisely, Sanskrit. It's kinda fun, but in the long run it doesn't make much sense ;). I'm a bit of a show-off. I try to be nice and honest with people, though time and again I discover people don't really care to do the same in return. I have a soft spot for tacky things and B-class movies (I share this guilty pleasure with Tom, which probably makes us such a great team).

In our little team I'm the one to concept the characters and I also did some additional arts for the game. If you have any questions or comments, just contact me at:
